As you may have heard already, Dave Kelly CMDip is no longer GM at Galway Golf Club. He was there for 7 years but recent events led him to resign his position. Happy to say, managers of his quality are few and far between and within a week he had been headhunted to take up a new role as GM at Westlands Activity Centre in Galway. Dave has also resigned his position as Vice President of the IGCMA as he is no longer in the industry. He is a great loss to us all in that regard. We wish Dave all the best in his new role and we hope he will still remain in contact.
Appointment at Forrest Little
Dave Reilly CMDip has just been appointed Secretary Manager at Forest Little Golf Club. Coming from a PGA background, Dave funded himself through CMAE’s MDP Program, attaining his CMDip and this is his first appointment in Club Management. He had previously held a number of roles with Carr Golf. We wish him well in his new position and are delighted he is now part of the IGCMA Tribe.
Job Opportunity at Ennis Golf Club

Killeen Golf Club is currently in the recruitment process for a GM at the club, as is Portstewart GC.

International Golf Resumes
Following almost 2 years of inactivity, it's great to see our International Calendar opening again. We take on the SGCMA at The Renaissance Club this week and in October all four home associations will contest the Millennium Trophy over Royal Dublin G.C, Portmarnock G.C and Co. Louth G.C.
